Performers from Subiaco high schools have showcased their talent and creativity as part of the Western Australian Youth Theatre Company (WAYTCo) 24-Hour Play Generator, supported by the City of Subiaco.
This annual event challenges emerging writers, directors, and performers to create six 10-minute original plays over a 24-hour period.
As part of this year’s challenge, auditions were held at Bob Hawke College and Perth Modern School, and six students were selected to participate in the program, working alongside professional theatre practitioners (including WAYTCo Artistic Director Amelia Burke) and fellow young artists from across the state.
