Community invited to help shape a more accessible and inclusive Subiaco

DAIAG.jpg

The City of Subiaco is calling on community members to join its new Disability Access and Inclusion Advisory Group (DAIAG) and help create a more accessible and inclusive community for people with disability.

Moving from the previous committee structure to a new advisory approach, this new group will encourage robust conversations, and will provide greater flexibility to support more impactful outcomes.

The DAIAG will provide advice, feedback, and community perspectives to support the City in delivering initiatives, projects, and services that enhance access to and participation in our community.

Members of the advisory group will contribute their knowledge, skills, and lived experience to help guide the City’s approach to disability access and inclusion, ensuring the perspectives of people with disability are reflected in decision-making.

Community members with disability, people with experience supporting people with disability, as well as older adults with accessible needs are encouraged to apply.
