The City of Subiaco has launched a new Investment Prospectus, outlining the City’s economic strengths, infrastructure, and strategic opportunities - providing a case for businesses to locate, invest, or expand in Subiaco.
The document provides an overview of Subiaco’s current economic state, including support of more than 25,000 local jobs and more than 5000 businesses.
Key industries explored within the prospectus include health care and social assistance, education and training, retail, food and hospitality, and professional, scientific and technical services; emphasising that Subiaco is not reliant on a single industry, rather, it is supported by a combination of sectors that provide a resilient and adaptable economic baseline.
Construction, education, and financial and real estate services are identified as emerging sectors within the document, and an investment timeline identifies key projects driving economic growth in Subiaco, including the St John of God Subiaco Redevelopment (expected completion 2028), the UEM Sunrise Subiaco Redevelopment delivering apartments and mixed-use properties at Subi East, and the Westbridge Group Regal Theatre Redevelopment, delivering apartments adjoining the iconic Regal Theatre.

· Subiaco’s economy is further strengthened by a 37% population growth forecast over the next decade.
· The City of Subiaco supports more than 5,037 active businesses, with an average of 13 net business additions per quarter over the past decade.
· Subiaco is one of Perth’s best-known mixed-use destinations, with key annual events including the Subi Night Market (100,000+ visitors), Subi Blooms (40,000+ visitors), and Perth Comedy Festival (20,000+ visitors).
· Spending in Subiaco is showing growth, with a 19% increase in spending from 2021 to 2025.
