The City of Subiaco is pleased to announce that Elizabeth Connolly has been appointed as its new Director Corporate Services.
Elizabeth was recruited through a highly competitive process, and will provide a range of services to the City, as well as governance, human resources, and management of the City’s property investment portfolio.
Elizabeth has more than 16 years of experience in senior local government roles across Western Australia and Queensland, and has led multiple corporate services functions, including corporate governance, policy, and strategic planning.
She also has experience in leading business transformation projects and managing high-profile assets and infrastructure.
Elizabeth joined the City in October 2023 in the Manager Cultural Services role, during which time she has driven major organisational initiatives including the City’s first Community Safety Framework and a comprehensive Community Needs and Service Review.
Of the appointment, CEO Colin Cameron said, “Elizabeth is bringing a wealth of valuable corporate services and strategic experience to our Executive Leadership Team, during what is a very exciting time at the City of Subiaco.
“With our Council Plan and digital transformation embedded in our daily operations, and many major projects still to be delivered, there is much for our community to anticipate and for our experienced staff to deliver.
“I’d like to congratulate Elizabeth on her appointment and welcome her to the team.”
Elizabeth will commence in the role in mid-June 2026.
