Elaine Forrestal is a West Australian author, whose work has been published in Australia, the UK and America. Elaine is an award winning writer who has a long spanning portfolio of work and a wealth of experience teaching young developing writers.
This is a part of a writing workshop series for the Craig Silvey Award for Young Writers and aims to develop the skills and techniques of budding authors.
About the Author
Elaine Forrestal always knew she wanted to be involved somehow in children’s learning and development, to nurture creativity and the growth of imagination. Elaine has over a dozen works, achieving success on multiple shortlists and going on to win awards. Elaine was presented in 2012 with the Muriel Barwell Award for Distinguished Service to Children's Literature by the Western Australian branch of the Children's Book Council of Australia.
