Wash, Wring and Dry

Get your hands dirty with old fashioned wash day at the museum. In a tub of water, with a wash board and cake of soap, scrub, rub, rub back and forth and up and down. Rinse and wring your washing, pick some wooden pegs, and place your wet washing on the line up high and soon your washing will be dry.

We hope you’re ready for some scrubbing!

In line with State Government directions, it is a condition of entry to this venue that anyone aged 16 years and over must show proof of their COVID-19 vaccination status or a medical exemption.

NOTE: Please do not attend Subiaco Museum if you are feeling unwell, you are most welcome to cancel your free ticket at any time and re-book into future upcoming events when you are feeling better and are symptom free. We ask that all visitors maintain good hand hygiene and utilise the hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities available when attending events.
