Join us for a guided heritage walk with heritage consultant Annette Green and explore the transformation of eastern Shenton Park from bushland to suburbia. Starting at the Palms Community Centre on Rokeby Road, we’ll trace the footsteps of the area’s early settlers, uncovering the stories of the people who built homes, raised families, and shaped a diverse community. Along the way, discover how social change and architectural trends are reflected in the streetscapes we see today.
Start - Palms Community Centre, 430 Rokeby Road, Shenton Park
End - The corner of Rokeby Road and Thomas Street, Shenton Park
Duration - 1.5 – 2 hours
Approximate Distance – 3 km
