Visible Mending Workshop Series - session 2

Over the two workshops, you will be covering:

• Fundamental skills for hand sewing such as setting up the needle, tying proper knots and how to start & finish your stitching
• Various hand-stitching methods that are essential for mending
• How to do embroidery stitching to add decorative elements to the mending process
• Elements of Sashiko stitching, a traditional Japanese technique that is popular in the world of visible mending 

Please note that this is a 2-part workshop, and you will need to attend both 2-hour workshops over the two weeks
