Telling our stories with words and with paint

This event is being held at Forrest Walk, Subiaco. 

From 10am Saturday 15 and 29 January, join Tricia Stedman as you paint your own ‘story’ on an Arty Brella after Tricia first tells the story behind her painted mural titled, ‘Shades of Subiaco’. 

Tricia’s mural in Rowland Street tells the story of the City of Subiaco gardener, who in the past would tend the roses that were located in Forrest Walk.

Once the participants have painted their Arty Brellas they will sit down under the shade of the trees in Forrest Walk with Perth’s best storyteller Glenn Swift. Glenn will weave the rich history of Subiaco into the storytelling session and encourage everyone to share their stories with the group.
