Join us to celebrate NAIDOC week with the 2024 message 'Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud'
Participants come on a journey with our presenters as they share traditional Dreamtime stories from the Noongar people. These interactive sessions allow the koolunga (children) to engage with the values and life lessons these stories hold as they learn through music, dance and movement. Additionally, Alton will read his story 'Chunyart and the Cheeky Parrot'.
During the school term, storytelling sessions for pre-schoolers are held on Tuesdays at 10.30am and repeated on Fridays at 10.30am. During school holidays, storytime is held on Fridays only at 10.30am. However, for this special event, the NAIDOC storytime will be held at 12pm midday.
