Join us to celebrate NAIDOC week with the 2022 message 'Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up!'
Special guest Freda Ogilvie will be running this special NAIDOC Storytime story telling session. Listen as Freda reads traditional stories in Noongar language, showing how to say these words and explain what they represent. The special storytelling session will be followed by special craft and games.
During the school term, storytelling sessions for pre-schoolers are held on Tuesdays at 10.30am and repeated on Fridays at 10.30am. During school holidays, storytime is held on Fridays only at 10.30am.
Please be sure to book a ticket for every person attending including children.
NOTE: Please do not attend Subiaco Library if you are feeling unwell, you are most welcome to cancel your free ticket at any time and re-book into future upcoming events when you are feeling better and are symptom free. We ask that all visitors maintain good hand hygiene and utilise the hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities available when attending events. Getting to the event: Subiaco Library has limited parking bays available at the rear of the building including two accessible parking bays. Three hour ticketed parking is available behind Subiaco Church off Rowland Street. For more information on getting around Subiaco visit the city’s website.
