Local author and 2022 CBCA notable Nadia L King will be hosting a short story workshop filled with tips, tricks and what judges look out for when submitting them in competitions.
This is a part of a writing workshop series for the Craig Silvey Award for Young Writers and aims to develop the skills and techniques of budding authors.
About the Author
Nadia L King is a local author of Indian and Irish heritage. She is a children's author and award-winning short story writer who believes passionately in the power of stories to make the world a better place. Her books include Claire Malone Changes the World, The Lost Smile, Claire Malone Makes a Friend, Jenna's Truth, and Can the Real JR Stand Up, Please? (a 2022 CBCA Notable Book). Nadia has also written for Scholastic and is currently working on a PhD in English and Creative Writing. She lives with her family and ever-expanding collection of books.
