See Subi on Sunday - Showcasing Shenton

Learn of the interesting history of West Subiaco/ Shenton Park and its development into a very desirable residential area with an abundance of parks. Bring a picnic to enjoy in beautiful parkland at Lake Jualbup with Mum and/or friends before or after the walk.

Start and finish Excelsior and Lake streets, Shenton Park

The walks take approximately one and a half hours to complete and are suitable for people of all ages. Walks are conducted in a relaxed, friendly and informative manner. Community members with past and present connections to the areas visited are invited to provide personal anecdotes that enhance the appreciation of the location explored during each walk.

The See Subi on Sunday walks work on the same basis as a group of friends walking together, who invite others to join them. New walkers are always welcome.

Event Details: Walks will go ahead rain or shine but will be cancelled in the event of thunderstorms or hail. All walkers take part at their own risk.
