See Subi on Sunday - Mother’s Day  Meander

Enjoy the green space and learn the history of Market Square and Subiaco Oval and their roles in the development of Subiaco identity over 100 years. The Heritage Gates, souvenir sections of the old stands, interpretation boards, walkway of the Sandover Medal winners and plantings make this a special place to visit. Picnic with mum and/or friends before or after the walk.

Start and finish at Market Square, Roberts Road opposite Axon Street, Subiaco.

The walks take approximately one and a half hours to complete and are suitable for people of all ages. Walks are conducted in a relaxed, friendly and informative manner. Community members with past and present connections to the areas visited are invited to provide personal anecdotes that enhance the appreciation of the location explored during each walk.

The See Subi on Sunday walks work on the same basis as a group of friends walking together, who invite others to join them. New walkers are always welcome.

Event Details: Walks will go ahead rain or shine but will be cancelled in the event of thunderstorms or hail. All walkers take part at their own risk.
