About Rebecca Higgie
Rebecca Higgie is a master of mischief and an an award-winning writer who loves history, words and libraries. Her young adult debut novel The History of Mischief won the 2019 Fogarty Literary Award for an unpublished manuscript and was published by Fremantle Press in 2020. Her short stories, creative non-fiction and poems have won awards and been published in journals, anthologies and newspapers including The West Australian, Westerly, and Stories of Perth.
Rebecca is an advocate for stories and upskilling and empowering young writers.
Subiaco library runs a free school holiday program for school children. An adult must accompany children, and remain within the library, during all activities.
