Refugee Week: Drop-in session
To mark Refugee Week, Curtin Grandmothers for Refugees will be at the Subiaco Library on Tuesday 17 June from 10.30am to 11.30am to answer questions about the issues confronting refugees.
Refugee Week is Australia’s peak annual activity to promote greater awareness of refugees, the issues they face, and the contributions they are making to the Australian community.
Grandmothers for Refugees advocate for a compassionate reception, fair assessment of refugee status, proper care, safety, support, and when suitable, a path to permanent residency.
No bookings required.
