Perth Festival - A Day of Ideas. Djinda: The Stars

Once again, we gather at Subiaco Arts Centre for a day that celebrates the sharpest minds and innovative thinkers living and working in Western Australia. In a packed program propelled by the ideas of industry leaders, cultural icons and world-class scientists, we begin the day with a keynote that features stunning visuals from beyond the realms of what our eyes can see when we scan the night sky.

Join us across three big, bold sessions as we explore the enduring effect of djinda (the stars) on scientific and creative processes – from the power of the cosmos to ignite young minds, to the timelessness of intergenerational Indigenous knowledge, to the energy of queer communities that shine a light on our capacity to be a better and fairer society. We end the day in the gardens, sharing food and looking out at the night sky.
