Subiaco Museum’s permanent exhibition space has just had its first major refurbishment since the 70s to create a more flexible space and better experience for visitors. The museum will be reopening in early August and we can't wait to show off the lovely new gallery space!
But what actually goes into curating a new museum gallery space? How does the curator decide what to upgrade, and how do they decide how the refurbishment can best serve the community? How does a museum refurbishment work logistically, and what are some challenges that can crop up?
Find out the answers to all of these questions and more in this special Night at the Museum event with Subiaco Museum's expert curator Jessica Marantelli.
