National Tree Day - Community planting event

Join us at Mabel Talbot Park (near Peel Street) on Sunday 6 August, 9:00am to 11:00am, to help plant 3,000 native tube stock plants. We will be planting low growing native plants in the new hydro-zoned garden bed. Come and join us for as long as you wish, plant some WA native plants to beautify your local park and meet your neighbours. We look forward to seeing you there.
 
Volunteer Instructions:

Please bring your own gloves, trowel, water bottle and keep cup. Wear a hat, long sleeves, enclosed shoes, and dress appropriately for the weather. Light refreshments will be available at the end of planting. Public toilets are available near the Jolimont Terrace car park. Free parking is available at Jolimont Terrace and at the end of Lansdowne Street. Street parking available within the surrounding streets - please follow all parking signs and regulations. Please do not attend if you feel unwell.
