Come and join special storyteller, the Mayor of Subiaco, David McMullen, as he reads the same book more than a million children all over Australia will be listening to at the same time! National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is held annually to promote the value of reading and literacy, using an Australian children’s book. This year it will be celebrated all across Australia and New Zealand!
This year the NSS book is ‘Family Tree' written by Josh Pyke and illustrated by Ronojoy Ghosh. This is a heartfelt celebration of family, community, the seasons of life, to both cherish and to share.
It started with a seed, and that seed was me. And, over time, laughter filled my garden…
