Subiaco resident, Myra Staffa is a graduate of Curtin University and has had a long career in art education. She was formerly a part time lecturer at TAFE. She is now tutoring at Tresillian Art Centre Nedlands and conducting workshops on request.
Her exhibition 'Life's Objects' opens at the Subiaco Museum on Friday 22 September. This exhibition presents a collection of still life's depicting the objects we collect in our lives and how they can resonate with each other, telling stories of our lives.
Myra will be leading an art workshop on still life drawing and painting as well as discussing the works in her exhibition and her inspiration.
NOTE: All supplies will be provided however, this event may be held outside the Subiaco Museum on the grassed area. Hats and sunscreen are recommended and parental supervision is advised.
