We are bringing back our popular How to Read a Dress series again.
Come and learn about some of the history of fashion in Australia including garment construction and design inspiration through our collection of outwear, bodices, undergarments and costume accessories.
This is not-to-be-missed talk will showcase some of the rarest and most fragile textile items in the museum's collection.
Museum Mornings are held on the first Thursday of the month at the Subiaco Museum with a free morning tea provided. ***Please note due to the fragility of the items on display, no food or drink will be allowed in the museum at this event.
***Please note this is the same talk as the Night at the Museum - How to Read a Dress. Please do not book into both talks.
Book now to join this free event for adults from 10 am to11.30 am to explore the museum collection and discover new artefacts with a different theme each month.
