Museum Morning - Trams, Trains and Automobiles

Come for a journey through Subiaco’s transport history. We’ll explore the legacy of the early tram lines along Hay Street and Rokeby Road, and the vital role the railway played in shaping the suburb. Meet some of Subiaco’s first taxi drivers, including Viv James and Ern Congdon, and explore local bus services like the Emu Bus Company, which helped families get around before private cars were common.
