Mandarin Storytime at Subiaco Library

Come along to Subiaco Library for a Mandarin Storytime, suitable for children aged three to twelve .

Join us for the inaugural Mandarin Storytime at Subiaco Library. We will be holding a Mandarin Storytime session on the first Wednesday of every month.

The Mandarin Storytime session will include Mandarin storytelling with simple translations in English, one or two Mandarin phrases, singing in Mandarin and a cultural experience provided by the Confucius Institute from UWA. This session is suitable for children aged from three to twelve.

This is a perfect opportunity to experience stories in a different language and learn some Mandarin phrases.

Please be sure to book a ticket for every person attending including children.

This session will be held outside in the park by the museum in the shade of the trees. Bring along an afternoon snack to enjoy while you listen to the stories and join in with the rhymes.

NOTE: Please do not attend Subiaco Library if you are feeling unwell, you are most welcome to cancel your free ticket at any time and re-book into future upcoming events when you are feeling better and are symptom free. We ask that all visitors maintain good hand hygiene and utilise the hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities available when attending events.
