Join us for Mandarin Storytime at Subiaco Library.
Mandarin Storytime sessions are held on the first Wednesday of every month.
This bilingual Storytime session will include Mandarin storytelling with simple translations in English, one or two Mandarin phrases, singing in Mandarin and a cultural experience provided by the Confucius Institute from UWA.
This session is suitable for children aged from three to twelve.
The City prides itself on being inclusive and welcoming, and hopes these sessions will help children from all backgrounds experience stories in a different language and learn some Mandarin phrases.
Please be sure to book a ticket for every person attending including children.
This session will be held outside in the park by the museum in the shade of the trees. Bring along an afternoon snack to enjoy while you listen to the stories.
