Did you know that Valentine’s Day honours a Roman priest named Valentinus who died hundreds of years ago on 14 February? Valentinus was credited for having created the very first handwritten valentine card.
Visit the museum and see some of our historical Valentine’s Day cards. Make your own friendship card using colourful paper and ready-made decorations and be inspired by some of the poetry from our cards on display.
