Ni hao! Subiaco Library’s Harmony Storytime for September will celebrate Mandarin.
Come along to listen to a story read in Mandarin and take part in some fun activities afterwards. To celebrate the Moon Cake Festival the fun craft activity will be decorating a lantern.
The session is suitable for ages 3-12 years, and both novices and native speakers are welcome!
This is a perfect opportunity to experience stories in a different language and learn some simple Mandarin words.
The City prides itself on being inclusive and welcoming, and hopes these sessions will help children from all backgrounds experience stories in a different language.
Please be sure to book a ticket for every person attending including children.

Getting to the event: Subiaco Library has limited parking bays available at the rear of the building including two accessible parking bays. Three hour ticketed parking is available behind Subiaco Church off Rowland Street. For more information on getting around Subiaco visit the city’s website.
