D'Minion Book Club
The book voted for the September book club is Holes by Louis Sachar.
Stanley Yelnats is under a curse. A curse that began with his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather and has since followed generations of Yelnats. Now Stanley has been unjustly sent to a boys' detention center, Camp Green Lake, where the boys build character by spending all day, evrey day digging holes exactly five feet wide and five feet deep. Read the book to find out what these holes are all about then come along and discuss it with us at the book club.
Tim from Dymocks Subiaco runs this book club and will bring along a selection of books to vote for the October book club pick. Make sure you come along to vote for your favourite.
