D'Minion Book Club
The book voted for the October book club is Parvana by Deborah Ellis.
Eleven-year-old Pavana lives with her family in one room of a bombed-out apartment in war-torn Afghanistan. When soldiers burst into her home and drag her father off to prison, it becomes Parvana's responsibility to be the breadwinner for her family.
Tim from Dymocks Subiaco runs this book club and will bring along a selection of books to vote for the December book club pick. Make sure you come along to vote for your favourite.
