Kate Emery is West Australian writer and journalist who will be at Subiaco Library to talk about how to create compelling characters, how to tell stories from different perspectives and how to think about a story’s structure before they start.
This is a part of a writing workshop series for the Craig Silvey Award for Young Writers and aims to develop the skills and techniques of budding authors.
About the Author
Kate Emery lives in Perth and works as a senior reporter for the West Australian. The Not So Chosen One is her first book and was shortlisted for the 2020 Text Prize.
