Bus trip: Romancing the Stone Gardens

Come join us on a magical adventure to the Stone Gardens in Maida Vale! This in-person event will take you on a journey through lush greenery, stunning sculptures, and serene water features.

Romancing the Stone Gardens is a labour of love for owner, Tom Hogg. Carefully tended over many years by Tom, the Gardens now host visitors for a variety of events. Our day will start with an informative talk and morning tea hosted by Tom. Tom’s story is heartwarming, humorous and inspirational.

For lunch we will make our way to the Kalamunda Hotel for a delicious 2 course menu. Followed by visit at the Jadran Wines to finish the day.

This tour includes morning tea and lunch.

Bus Departures

There are two bus departure points:

1. Subiaco Community Centre, 203 Bagot Rd (Bus Bay) - Bus departs 8.15am
2. Shenton Park Community Centre, 240 Onslow Rd - Bus departs 8.30am

Bus Returns

1. Shenton Park Community Centre, 240 Onslow Rd - Bus arrives approx. 3pm
2. Subiaco Community Centre, 203 Bagot Rd (Bus Bay) - Bus arrives approx. 3.10pm

Further Information

Please indicate any access or dietary requirements at the time of booking to ensure staff can best support you at an event including the use of a walking aid 1 week prior to tour departure. Whilst we try to accommodate walking frames, scooters/gophers are only permitted by prior arrangement.

Please note a wheelchair hoist is not available on this coach.

An extra set of steps to lower the number of steps on to the bus is provided, please note there are 3-4 steps from the ground on to the bus.
