Join author Dr Chris Berry for this special event as he talks about his book To Dwell in Unity, and takes us on a journey through local government’s history, introducing us to some of the characters who, for better and for worse, have been part of the remarkable story of local government in WA.
About the author:
Chris Berry completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Geography at the University of Western Australia on the topic of ‘local government boundaries’. Since then he has worked in the local government sector in a variety of roles, including policy, funding, reform and regional development, progressing through senior roles in the Department of Local Government. He has promoted the celebration of the 150th anniversary of local government in WA and To Dwell in Unity is his first book.
