Join author Shannon Meyerkort for a family-friendly in conversation talk with local librarian Emily Paull. Shannon will talk about her new book Brilliant Minds: 30 Dyslexic Heroes who Changed the World. Did you know that some of the world's greatest minds struggled at school? Discover the way these record-breakers, game-changers, and risk-takers managed their dyslexia, persevered through hardships to achieve greatness.

This book is an empowering reminder for all kids struggling at school that they can achieve great things with their brilliant minds.

Shannon Meyerkort is a Western Australian author with a focus on stories that are inspired by real people and events. She comes from a background in the health and social sciences and spend a decade working in academic research. She now writes short stories, novels and has been writing accessible stories for children with dyslexia.

Pizza and drinks will be available at this event.

Dymocks Subiaco will be selling books after the Q&A session for signing.
