Art in Autumn - Galapagos Tortoises with Creative Kids Art Club

Saturday 15 March 1pm - 3pm

Ages 9 - 14

Use coloured pencil to create a life-like drawing of a Galapagos Tortoise on brown paper. We’ll learn pencil application techniques, find out about colour choices and directional mark making to create texture and pattern. Students can hone their observation skills to see shadows and highlights and create a wonderful artwork

Art in Autumn is a program aimed to develop and foster young artists before the opening of the Shaun Tan Award for Young Artists.

Subiaco Library runs a free children's program for school children aged six and up. An adult must accompany children, and remain within the library, during all activities.

Getting to the event:
