Have you ever wanted to be like Indiana Jones? Or wondered how archaeologists discover items in the ground? Come along to the museum and learn how to search for and dig up your very own archaeological treasures. Learn how archaeologists start their digs and the different methods of excavation. Some of the museum’s archaeological treasures will be on display.
Note: Children will be able to practise digging up items from our education collection and so should come prepared to get a little dirty.
