Anzac Day - Subiaco
ANZAC Day is recognised as an occasion of national remembrance. On 25 April each year, services are held around the country as a time to remember all Australian service men and women, and reflect on the many different meanings of war. The Shenton Park/Subiaco sub-branch of the RSL host events, supported by the City of Subiaco.
Community members are invited to attend the Subiaco RSL sub-branch Anzac Day service. The procession assembles at 7.50am at the Subiaco Post Office. At 8.00am the procession moves along Rokeby Road to the Fallen Soldiers memorial for the service commencing at 8.15am. A light morning tea will be served in the Subiaco Library following the service.
Please note road closures will be in place - Rokeby Road between Barker Road and Heytesbury Road, and Hamersley Road between Hensman Road and Salisbury Street will be closed between 6:00am and 9:30am (approximately). Traffic management will be on site and detours will be in place.
