The museum’s popular croquet morning is back in 2023.
The Subiaco Croquet Club opened in 1904 and was popular amongst many of the City’s residents. The croquet lawn was originally situated on the north-east of the Subiaco Gardens and was formerly the 1st Bowling Club of Subiaco. The Croquet Club later extended their activities to Nicholson Road where Mrs Daglish applied on behalf of the Croquet Club for permission to form a Ladies Croquet Club.
Enjoy a game of croquet on the lawn and some light refreshments. Collection items, including historical photographs from the Croquet Club and an original croquet set will be on display.
Note: Bookings essential for catering purposes.
