The City of Subiaco, through its destination marketing brand - See Subiaco, are busy planning, preparing and finalising details for the first ever Subiaco Halloween festival - 'Spookiaco'.
Dedicated to promoting Subiaco as the destination for Halloween, Spookiaco will take over the town centre from Thursday 29 October through until Sunday 8 November.
With something for every age group, the Spookiaco program already includes:
Public Art Installation - Matthew Aberline returns to Subi with his 'Warning; Subi Monsters Ahead' art display at Market Square Park
Fright Night at Subi Night Markets
Spooky Laneway installations, and
Subi Spells and Stories walking tours from Oh Hey WA.
The campaign will be promoted by See Subiaco and will focus on driving foot traffic and spend in local businesses. The success of Spookiaco will rely on strong participation from local businesses, creating a
precinct-wide experience that encourages visitors to explore, stay longer, and spend more. - with ample opportunities for the local business community to get involved, including:
Halloween themed specials and promotions
Nominating to be a potential event venue
Plan or host a Halloween event during the campaign.
