Subi Blooms wins national award
The City of Subiaco has been recognised nationally for its leadership in economic development, receiving two honours at the Economic Development Australia Awards for Excellence:
Winner – Economic Development Marketing and Promotion Award for Subi Blooms: A Destination Showcase.
Finalist – Economic Development Excellence: Cities and Larger Regions (over 15,000 residents) for The Subi Advantage: Investing in Place, Growing the Economy.
The awards celebrate local governments that demonstrate innovation, leadership and measurable results in supporting economic growth and community prosperity.
Subi Blooms was recognised for transforming Subiaco into a vibrant destination through large-scale floral displays, events and activations. The initiative attracted visitors, increased spending at local businesses and showcased the city's unique character. It also strengthened Subiaco's reputation as a leading destination for dining, shopping and entertainment.
The City's finalist recognition for The Subi Advantage reflects its long-term commitment to building a strong and resilient local economy.
