How accessible is startup funding in Western Australia?
Startups have always bemoaned a lack of capital, and it has historically been worse in WA than the rest of Australia.
But is that still true?
The WA Government put $45M into attracting seven VC firms to the state, with a collective $158M to invest. Add Innovation Booster Grants, Commercialisation Bridge Grants, RED Grants, the FHRI Fund, Seed Funds and more, and there is arguably more capital available than ever before.
So where are the gaps? What can StartupWA do to help?
Hosted by the City of Subiaco, StartupWA's final roundtable of the year will bring together investors, entrepreneurs, universities, corporates and government representatives for an honest conversation. Whether you have raised, invested, or are just starting out, your perspective is welcome.
