sunset@subi concerts return for 34th season

Update 6 January 2022

Unfortunately, due to current COVID-19 restrictions, our Sunday 2 January sunset@subi concert with The Australian Beatles at Lake Jualbup has been postponed to Sunday 6 February.

Following the State Government announcement on 3 January 2022, requiring proof of vaccination against COVID-19 to attend a range of venues and events, attendees at the concert series are required to have proof of double vaccination and are advised that spot checks may be undertaken by COVID marshals at the event.

If anything further changes regarding the sunset@subi concerts, we will post the latest to our Facebook page.

We look forward to seeing you at future concerts!

City of Subiaco’s popular sunset@subi concert series is back for its 34th season to help locals make the most of the warm summer evenings.

This year’s performers at the free outdoor concerts cover a range of genres from pop and 70s and 80s nostalgia to country music, and everything in between.

sunset@subi concert goers are encouraged to bring along a picnic dinner or grab something from one of the delicious local eateries throughout the City, before enjoying the live music as the sun goes down on a relaxed Sunday. A dessert van will be at each concert for those with a sweet tooth.

There will be six concerts in total, running from 19 December 2021 to 30 January 2022 (excluding Boxing Day), with an Auslan interpreter present at all concerts.

Subiaco Mayor David McMullen said the sunset@subi concert series was a great community event.

“The concerts are loved by locals and visitors for the relaxed vibe, fun live music, and family-friendly feel,” he said.

“I encourage everyone to gather a group of family and friends, or just come along, to enjoy some talented musicians doing what they do best in the fantastic setting offered by some of our parks.”

Last year’s concerts saw more than 7000 people attend across five big nights, and this year is expected to draw even bigger crowds to the City.

All concerts are free to attend and no bookings are required. It’s free to park in Subipark car stations all weekend – no ticket required.
