Subiaco’s very own FRINGE WORLD hub, Subilicious, is back for another dose of festival fun from Wednesday 21 January to Sunday 15 February 2026.
This year, there are 11 shows on the Subilicious line-up, from improv comedy and heartfelt plays to music and physical theatre pieces. Plus, Subi Night Market will be painting the town pink with their free line-up of electric entertainment.
Program highlights include the return of Improv RPG to Subiaco Arts Centre, following their record-breaking run in 2025’s festival. The team will bring six performances to life as part of this year’s line-up, including
Dungeons & Dragons,
Call of Cthulhu, and
High Society; an homage to beloved roleplaying games like
Good Society and
The Season inspired by Jane Austen and Bridgerton. Take your pick from a standalone adventure or a three-night campaign – no matter which show you attend, you’re in for a hilarious night out.
Burlesque fans are in for a double-act delight with
Parler de Seins, an intimate burlesque cabaret set to the pulse of live jazz music, and
The Red Velvet Revue, featuring sparkling costumes and show-stopping acts.
Other program highlights include
She Said What?, a reimagining of some of Australia’s fiercest female-written songs, and
Canvas of Time, a physical theatre piece that traverses the Medieval era to the enlightenment of the Renaissance.
If you’re up for a night of entertainment under the stars, head to Subi Night Market for their special Subilicious line-up, which is free and family-friendly. The market’s Fringe program so far includes music from
Major Swing Project, a Valentine’s Day speed dating event (from 7pm to 8pm on Saturday 14 February), and plenty of roving entertainment that the whole family will love. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for the giant flying pink pigs!
Local distillery, Spirit of Little Things, will also be serving up seasonal cocktails at their Subi Night Market pop-up bar.
Mayor David McMullen said Subilicious perfectly captures the magic of summer in Subiaco.
“Come see a show, or enjoy free live entertainment at the popular Subi Night Market, soak up the great summer weather, and stay to enjoy the many bars and restaurants Subi has to offer,” he said.
