A new exhibition showcasing the top 50 artists from the 2024 Shaun Tan Award for Young Artists officially opens at Subiaco Library, and online, today.
The imaginative and impressive works are part of the City of Subiaco’s long-running prestigious visual art award with school students from across the state entering for the chance to exhibit their pieces.
Exhibition visitors – both in-person and online – can
vote for their favourite piece to win the people’s choice award.
The Shaun Tan Award for Young Artists exhibition runs from Monday 8 July to Sunday 4 August at Subiaco Library and
online.
It showcases the top 10 entries from each award category – lower, middle and upper primary, and lower and upper secondary.
An official award night in late July will close out the 2024 awards with patron, Shaun Tan, set to give a speech to the attending students.
