School holiday fun in the City of Subiaco

July school holidays are almost here and we’ve got plenty of fun on across the City for the whole family.

Subiaco Library will be packed full of activities these school holidays including special days and activities for NAIDOC week. From a woven raffia bracelet workshop, to Lego techniques and challenges, to window art and crocheting, there are loads of activities to suit a variety of ages and abilities. Bookings open Monday 20 June.

Encourage the kids to get moving, learn new skills and have fun at Lords Recreation Centre with activities for children aged six to 11 on each Monday, Wednesday and Friday throughout the July school holidays. Our programs consist of indoor games, craft, food making and other fun activities designed to promote confidence, inclusivity and teamwork.

Subiaco Museum will host ‘Boards, Bob and Bagatelle’ on the first day of the holidays. This free Saturday family activity invites you to play some old-fashioned indoor games, such as Bobs, a British game similar to Billiards but without the table.

Get a glimpse behind the scenes as the Museum undergoes professional photographing of exhibits on the 6 July. Get up close to see object handling, boxing and photography of exhibits on show and in storage.

Bookings at Subiaco Library and Lords open Monday 20 June.
