Opening hours for September public holidays

Across the upcoming public holidays (the National Day of Mourning on Thursday 22 September and the King’s Birthday on Monday 26 September), some City facilities will be closed or have altered opening hours.

Our customer service team are currently operating out of 19 Bishop Street, Jolimont. The centre will be closed on both public holidays, and will resume normal opening hours on Friday 23 September and Tuesday 27 September (and onwards). During this time, our online services are available as per usual.

Subiaco Library will be closed on Thursday 22 September and Monday 26 September. The after-hours return chute will be open during this time.

Following a small fire at our Administration Centre, the Subiaco Museum is currently without power and will remain closed until Saturday 1 October. Our Museum team are busy organising a fun-filled family event for the reopening on this date, which will include croquet and refreshments on the lawn. Make sure you book your spot in advance.

Lords Recreation Centre’s gym and sports courts will be open from 8am to 5pm on both public holidays. There will also be a modified group fitness timetable on both public holidays. The pool, creche and café will be closed. All the details are on the Lords website.

While some our staff take a small break, many of our local businesses will be open and ready to welcome you - so if you've been thinking about catching up with friends or family over a coffee or a drink, doing a bit of retail therapy, or having dinner before catching a show at the Regal Theatre, now is the perfect time.

Head to See Subiaco’s website or Instagram to find out what’s on and discover some of our amazing local businesses.
