New COVID rules now in place

New State Government restrictions came into place this morning to help slow the spread of COVID as cases continue to rise in WA.

The new rules include a capacity reduction for many venues (2sqm rule per patron) which now applies to:
In the library some of the furniture and computers have been moved or restricted to make it easier for patrons to physically distance while in the building.

There will be very limited public gallery space for Council Meetings while this rule remains in place, but meetings will continue to be live streamed via the City’s YouTube page so you can watch from home.

Proof of vaccination and signing in via the ServicesWA app (or physical register) is still required to access any City building.

City facilities now have signage in place to advise of these capacity restrictions so please respect the new measures and be patient with staff as they implement them.
