New campaign encourages local businesses to give feedback

The City of Subiaco’s Listening to Business (L2B) campaign officially launches today.

The six-month campaign – which was a Council initiative – encourages local businesses to get in touch and give us their feedback.

It seeks to gain insight into what the business community needs while strengthening ties between business owners and the City.

While the City already does a lot of work directly with local businesses, L2B seeks to build on this through a dedicated survey and curated events, including business engagement forums and informal meet ups with elected members.

The City will also leverage existing networks and partnerships with organisations such as the Western Suburbs Business Association as part of its approach.

Mayor David McMullen said, “The City of Subiaco is consistently looking for ways to engage with and support our business community. L2B is our latest campaign, to encourage two-way communication between the City and local business owners. We are showing that we are here and ready to listen.

“At the end of the day, you know your business best; and you know what you need to grow, thrive and leverage off the strong sense of community here in the City of Subiaco. So, we want you to tell us how the City can support you.

“Whatever industry you’re in, I encourage all our local business owners to get involved in the L2B campaign and take the time to talk to us at one of our events, fill in our online survey, or get in touch directly.”

Head to our dedicated engagement website, Have Your Say, to find out more and fill out the survey.
