New arrivals in the City

The City of Subiaco’s renaissance is showing no signs of slowing down with a huge number of new businesses recently flinging open their doors or coming soon to our streets.

These ones are open and ready to welcome you so pop them on your ‘to go’ list:
  • Bagel O’s – The cult café’s second venue to supply the western suburbs with mouth-watering, over-stuffed bagels. The stuff dreams are made of.
  • Burgers and Biryani – A fusion café serving up burgers and biryani infused with Indian spices, made fresh from locally sourced ingredients.
  • The Baking Corner – A quaint bakery with aesthetic (and delicious) desserts and pastries.
  • Below and Above Truffles and Wine – Supplying regeneratively-grown premium Pemberton truffles and wine – say no more.
  • Tomo Japanese – Authentic and delicious casual Japanese dining. There’s fresh sashimi, katsu, egg don, udon and more. You also can’t go wrong with the $12 lunch special.
  • Piccolo Deli (pictured) – By the same owners of Piccolo Trattoria serving up delicious grab-and-go deli fare and Southern Italian ready-to-heat meals, including their legendary meatballs.
  • Temple Lane – Find inner peace at this new Shenton Park yoga, reiki and meditation studio.
  • Kaarta Studio – Shenton Park locals now have the ultimate in relaxation and rejuvenation at their fingertips with this infrared sauna and ice bath spot.
  • Recovery Lab – A recovery and wellness centre in Jolimont offering infrared sauna, compression therapy, and ice baths.
  • Dome Subiaco – An iconic old favourite is back with a new look and expanded seating in the revitalised Seddon Street. Keen eyes will notice some nods to Dome’s heritage and roots in Subiaco with some design choices.
  • Ozrif Cafe and Burgers – While Ozriff has been a staple at One Subiaco for over a year now, they have recently expanded their offering to include brunch. Smashing together flavors from Malaysia and Indonesia, stand-out items for brunch include a Rendang Benedict Croissant and Kaya Jam Pancakes.

Keep your eyes peeled for these businesses coming soon:
  • NOSH Gourmet Gifts – The second location for this Vic Park institution that offers custom hampers, beautiful giftware and gourmet foods from WA’s finest producers.
  • Larry’s Charcoal Chicken – Fresh from a research trip to Palestine to discover the very best chicken and bring it back to Australian shores, the team behind Shui will be delivering big when this one opens.
  • FOUND! Brewery – A standout craft brewery which will be pumping out tasty beers alongside great pub grub. It’s going to be a summer favourite.
  • Casa Del Dolce – This delicious Italian patisserie is bound to be a must-visit location for anyone who loves all things sweet and savoury. Think canoli, focaccia, cakes and coffee. Currently taking catering orders, watch this space for when their shopfront opens on Rokeby Road
  • Caroline Pet Kitchen – This will be the spot to get your furry best friend a celebration cake, a new bowl, or some fresh treats.
