The latest round of Community Development Grants are now open to support cultural and community activities across the City of Subiaco.
The grants – which are awarded twice a year – focus on supporting programs, services and activities that promote wellbeing and contribute to an improved sense of belonging for the local community.
Previous grants have helped abandoned dogs find new families, supported a portrait exhibition of Wandana residents, and contributed to a colourful mural at Rosalie Primary School which the students helped paint (pictured).
In the last grant round, the City awarded over $10,000 to three innovative projects aimed at improving mental health outcomes for our community including an Alzheimer’s WA memory café, kickstarting the Subiaco Women’s Shed and an education program run by Deserving Better WA to address violence.
This round closes
Friday 27 September 2024. Individuals, community-based organisation and local groups are encouraged to apply.
