Commercial Parking Permits are now available electronically as an e-permit product.
Commercial Parking Permits are for trades vehicles associated with works being conducted within the City of Subiaco. These permits allow tradespeople to legally park close to their site of work.
The new e-permits have increased flexibility, allowing a vehicle to park on any street or in any City car station as needed.
They can be applied for directly from your phone and have a quick approval turnaround time of just a few minutes. An electronic tax invoice is also provided for each permit purchased.
Best of all, they come at the bargain price of only $10 for a half day and $20 for a full day.
Mayor David McMullen said, “The previous application and approval process for paper-based Commercial Parking permits was quite onerous and it could take a number of days for the permit to be issued, but the new e-permit system means that applications can be approved in minutes.
“The new e-permits also allow our Rangers to recognise in real time that the parking session is valid, which reduces the possibility of infringements being issued.
“This will be a better process for tradies who require permits, and is all part of our careful management of parking in the City of Subiaco.”
Commercial Parking Permits do not allow vehicles to park in ‘No Stopping’ or ‘No Parking’ areas, on footpaths or across driveways, in ‘Loading Zones’ or ‘Bus Zones’.
